A graduate of the Cinema and Photography Program at the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts, Julia has devoted many years to experimental photographic techniques. She has explored a variety of genres, from artistic portraits to macro photographs of human bodies and plants. Julia’s works were exhibited at the KULTKINO Festival and at the (Un)Published Photobook and Zine Exhibition at the Timiryazev Library in St. Petersburg. At the moment, she is working on We Live a Public Life, her solo photography project.
Somodernart team collects works by young Russian artists and photographers for everyone who enjoys contemporary art. On our website, you can choose art prints either on museum-quality watercolor paper by Hahnemühle or simple matte photo paper. Each unique print is based on the original artwork. We use standard paper sizes: А4, А3, А2, and А1. The original dimensions vary greatly, from a rectangle to a circle, so we suggest that you first pick up the print and only then have it framed.
